Strategic Planning Subcommittee
The SPS Strategic Planning Subcommittee was sanctioned by the Board of Directors to develop a long-range plan that would provide direction to assuring a sustained future for the Society, identifying opportunities for service to the Membership and developing new opportunities for growth. Posted below, you will find a draft poster that provides background to the Vision, Purpose, Goals, and Priorities, as well as the tactical plans to achieve these important objectives of the Society over the next several years.
The Subcommittee would like to thank the members of the Society who provided feedback on the draft plan. The Subcommittee reflected on the comments and when feasible incorporated these into the plan. In the poster, we have identified the current activities (noted as Tools/Processes) which are underway to achieve the tactical objectives and realize the long-range vision of the Society. This strategic plan is part of a process and is to be seen as “evergreen” with annual reviews and quarterly assessments of progress.
