Housing Reservations

Types of Accommodations:
(Please read this information before making your hotel reservation)
As a European destination, Strasbourg has a wide variety of hotel accommodations. The hotel accommodation classes are categorized by star levels, 4 being the highest. All 2, 3 and 4 star hotels have the same amenities (TV, bathroom in the room, telephone).
The differences are:
- The size of the room- In a 2 star hotel the room is smaller than in 3 or 4 star hotels. The room of a 3 star hotel is smaller than in a 4 star hotel.
- In 3 and 4 star hotels, there is an internet connection in the room. In a 2 star hotels, you can access to internet at the reception desk.
- A 4 star hotel has room service and serves breakfast in the rooms. In a 2 star and 3 star hotels, there is no room service. Some 3 star serve breakfast in the rooms.
- Reception desk is larger in a 4 star than in a 3 or 2 star hotels.
- In a 4 star hotels, they have a luggage handler, but not in a 2 or 3 star hotels.
- In 3 and 4 star hotels, the reception desk is open 24h/24h. In a 2 star hotels, there is a night porter.
